WHERE We Are

 

In the heart of the city of Arezzo, on the ancient Via Borgunto, just a few steps from Piazza Grande, you will find Scacciapensieri Guest House. 

To reach Scacciapensieri from the train station, walk along Corso Italia, reach Via di Seteria, until you arrive at 

Piazza Grande. At the right corner of the square, near the well, there is Via Borgunto; follow the street up to number 37.

 

 

 

Scacciapensieri is located in the historic center of Arezzo near the city's most important monuments. 

A strategic point to discover the beauties of Arezzo.

Please note that Scacciapensieri Guest House is located in a ZTL area.

 

You can access the area near the apartment with your car (not directly in front) from 12:00 to 17:00 and 

from 20:00 to 8:30 in the morning.

 

We recommend parking your vehicle at Pietri Car Park in via Giuseppe Pietri (one part free and one part paid), below the Cathedral walls, where you can use the escalators to reach the apartment in about 10 minutes on foot, or at Parking S. Agostino in via Pietro Aretino n. 9 (covered and guarded car park agreement with us at €25.00 per day, about 500 metres from the apartment). Reservations are not accepted.

 

Other parking lots are also available in the city:

- Via della Fonte Veneziana (next to the Courthouse) 

 - Mecenate Multi-storey Car Park

- Piazza A. Fanfani Car Park (former Cadorna Barracks)

- Eden Car Park

- Viale Piero della Francesca (near Piazza della Stazione)

Scacciapensieri Guest House is in a prime location for the Christmas markets.

The Tyrolean Village is about 90 meters away and all other attractions can be reached on foot in less than 5 or 10 minutes.

The Business and Conference Center is about 3.5 km away. 

You can reach it by your own car or by Autolinee Toscane bus. 

Urban lines are no. 4 or no. 6 departing from Via Roma (arcade area near the station) every about 15 minutes.

Alternatively, line no. 39 is available from the station “Piero della Francesca” side every 30 minutes.
